I was born and raised in southern Minnesota. There I grew up on a century farm and when not helping out with farm life, my love of fiber came to be. I moved to the Cincinnati area when I married my husband John in 2022 and our son was born spring of 2023.

 

I’ve been knitting most of my life, learning when I was about 8 years old. As a teenager I casually added simple crochet to my repertoire. In the last decade or so I’ve also dabbled in tatting, weaving, and hardanger embroidery!

 

There is something so satisfying and relaxing about the fiber arts. Seeing the fiber glide through my fingers and over the needles is magical. I’ve worked at several specialty yarn stores over the years and never tire of seeing beautiful projects come to life!

 

Making things for others gives me great joy! From white baptismal booties for a new baby to a cabled sweater wedding present for my husband, it makes my day when people love and use my hand knits!
